Vijay's upcoming film 'Velayudham' scheduled for a back-to-back shooting of 180days has surprised the town.
Actor Vijay usually prefers a quickie as almost his previous films have been churned out within short span of time. But on contrastive grounds, his upcoming film 'Velayudham' will be shot for 180 days and it's spinning more sensations now.
Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, the film took off grandiosely amongst hundreds and thousands of fans during last week… Reports are that the film will be crafted so carefully that Jayam Raja wants 'Velayudham' to be his best while for Vijay - another 'Ghilli'.
It's obvious that actors Vikram and Suriya alone would go for such long schedules, which have exceeded even 200 days. To be precise, it looks like Vijay is planning to strike back with spectacular shows with constant focus on a single project.

After shelving his film with Silambarasan, director Lingusamy is gearing to start his new film with Vijay. Vijay is said to begin this film in November by which time his other film 'Velayudham' will be completed. And for the heroine of 'Velayudham', sources say Vijay and Lingusamy have finalised Kajal Agarwal for the role.
Kajar Agarwal was considered for the role Hansika Motwani plays in 'Velayudham'. But Kajal did not have the required dates and had to sacrifice the offer. Now all are in place and Kajal Agarwal is ready to rock with Vijay.
'Velayudham' is an action packed film produced by Cloud Nine Movies much in the classy lines of earlier super hit 'Paiyaa'

Chief Minister Kalainyar Karunanidhi and Ilayathalapathy Vijay released the audio of 'Kanimozhi' last evening at Anna Arivalayam. The event commenced with the screening of trailer in animation followed by three songs.

Prakash Raj, Nasser, Narain, Rama Narayanan, SPB Charan, AVM Saravanan, Parthiban, Na. Muthukumar, Shiva, Premji Amaran, Vaibhav, Aravind Akash and many others were present.

Nasser compeered for this special occasion and Parthiban came up with some hilarious speech in limited levels. Vijay, who on spoke on his turn said that he loves the way Jai, shakes his head in the song 'Kangal Irandal' (Saying this, he imitated Jai's act).

ஏழை மாணவரை தத்‌தெடுத்தார் விஜய்!

டீக்கடையில் வேலை பார்த்தபடியே படித்து பிளஸ் டூ தேர்வில் அதிக மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்ற ஏழை மாணவரை நடிகர் விஜய் தத்தெடுத்துள்ளார். தனது 37வது பிறந்த நாள் கொண்டாட்டத்தின்போது விஜய் இதனை அறிவித்தார். நடிகர் விஜய் நேற்று (22ம்தேதி) தனது 37வது பிறந்த நாளை கொண்டாடினார். இதையொட்டி காலை 9 மணிக்கு பாலவாக்கம் திருமண மண்டபத்தில் ரத்ததான முகாமில் கலந்து கொண்டார். இதில் விஜய் ரசிகர்கள் 100 பேர் ரத்ததானம் செய்தனர். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து நேற்று பிறந்த 20 குழந்தைகளுக்கு தங்க ம‌ோதிரம் அணிவித்தார். சாலிகிராமம் ஷோபா திருமண மண்டபத்தில் ஆதரவற்றோர் இல்லங்களுக்கு சீரூடை வழங்கப்பட்டது. சாலிகிராமம் காவேரி பள்ளியில் ஏழை மக்களுக்கும், சின்மயா நகர் முதியோர் இல்லத்திலும் அன்னதானம் வழங்கினார்.

பின்னர் டீக்கடையில் வேலை பார்த்துக் கொண்டே பிளஸ் டூ படித்து, தேர்வில் அதிக மார்க் எடுத்த பாண்டியராஜ் என்ற ஏழை மாணவரை விஜய் தத்தெடுத்தார். அந்த மாணவர் விருப்பப்படி அவரை என்ஜினீயரிங் படிக்க வைக்கப் போவதாக விஜய் அறிவித்தார். தனது சமூக பணிகள் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று ஏற்கனவே ரசிகர்களுக்கு அறிவுறுத்தியிருந்த விஜய், சென்னை நகர் முழுவதும் வலம் வந்து சமூக நல உதவிகளை செய்து பலரது வாழ்த்துக்களையும் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார்.
